 Hi! My name is Keiran Richards and I have been repairing and creating high quality, hand crafted cricket bats since I was 16, but my love of the game has been around longer, in fact as long as I can remember!
I completed a cricket bat making apprenticeship with Australia Wide Bat Company where I worked for five years, and from here I decided to go out on my own, which I have been doing for the past six years.
My mentor, Reg Taylor, taught me most of what I know today, and I believe I now create bats equal if not better than anyone in the world.
I also believe that with cricket bats, the old ways are still the best ways, and I believe my hand crafted, traditional method of bat creations are the best.
Each bat I complete gives me a sense of satisfaction in that each bat I create allows me to have been a part of a tradition stretching over a century, and I know that each bat sold will soon become a treasured possession of a batsman.
